Hello i am french, living in Indian Ocean, i have a dedicated server at another european company but I can see this company can't be serious, and all 64 BF3 servers hosted by this company is lagging like hell !

So i saw qome clan servers running in dedicated servers from your services, i would like to know:

1) Is it possible to run all available game with one of your dedicated server, or are there some game unavailable ? (Some providers just provide BF3 on gameservers not in dedi)

2) I saw the most of your dedi contains only 4GB of RAM, could we pay more for more RAM (at least 12 GB) ?

3) When we start to rent a dedicated server how many times we could get it running ?

4) Are your dedicated servers "shared servers"? I mean will I be the only one customer on this dedicated server ?

Thanks by advance for the help.

Best regards,
Emmanuel

Hi,

1) Yes with the exception of a few games such as Minecraft deemed as hobby software and the potential of exploits is much greater. With Ranked dedis, security is a major concern and games like MC pose too much of a security risk.

2) A few of the dedis have 8GB (R210 II and R200 Plus). We also allow ram upgrades but the min term is 6 months. Generally there is no need for the extra ram as games like BF3 use very little.

3) This question is not that clear. Do you mean, how long after ordering will it take for the dedi to be set up? If so, typically a few hours depending on the configuration requirements.

4) No. The whole point of a dedicated server is that it's dedicated solely to you and the services you wish to run.
