Any tips on how you get players to join your server =/ It always seems to be me and my mates and no one else joins ... yet there same servers are always full time and time again!

What is their secret?

If you have the server set up for normal settings then it will effectively feature in the Quick Join list.
If its hardcore (as I have jsut read your other post) I would recommend exploring these options:

-Promoting yourselves as a community ALL OVER the internet. Forums, blogs, news sites, sites not even relating to gaming, etc.
-Getting yourselves onto twitter and following everyone you can think of and then going through their followers and adding them. Again, getting invloved, get your name known. -Retweeting their important tweets, etc.
-Repeat but with facebook
-Join the BF clansites
-Play matches against other clans/ communities
-Always take an interest in the players that join your server. If a player feels like a person and not just a slot they are likely to return.
-Add players who join your server to friends in battlelog. Speak to them.
-Have a solid approach to adminning and ensure all your admins share the same. Nothing worse than one man armies ruining a community's name.
-Get your servers in gametracker.
-Make sure your server is named to attract new folks
-Make sure your maps are well ordered

Everything sgt Trojan says. Its hard work but rewarding getting a good ranking for your server.

Game tracker. If your a server owner, then make sure you claim your server on GT. Easy enough to do. Then add the sig bars to your posts as a way of advertising your server. Be active on your server and build a rapport with the players.

EA BF3 UK forums is a good place to start.

Let people know you have a server. Let them know what game mode and maps. Above all be active and manage your server well. Ie admin

Don't forget to get PBBans account and stream your server to them for up to date ban lists.
