Hi,
DICE have released Server Update R17 which includes several security fixes.
R17 can be installed by logging into the Game Panel and going to Game Servers > BF3 > Game Updates and the R17 patch is available there.
This is an optional patch for this evening but all game servers will be required to be running the latest release by mid day Friday, 13th January, if no major issues are found. As such, we will force all instances that have not been updated to R17 around that time.

Unfortunately we cannot say what exactly (not that there was much detail on it anyway). The only info we're allowed to convey is 'security fixes'.

Both servers (from my sign) just emptied - full servers that is :-(

I think it was the datacentre or KC itself cos all my servers were full and emptied. We couldn't access the web tool or the forums.

All bf3 servers went down and when they came back they were not ranked, no rank showed up and no unlocks, had to reboot servers and then workd all kits were resetted so had to choose all again, weird stuf never seen this before.

Same happened for us, and just again around 30-40 mins ago.
I am aware there is an ongoing issue with VM users etc, i guess this impacts on KC in some way also?

yeah seems very bad impact all of our servers went down not good time for downtime middle of night noway to start them again
lucky we have backup in our spanish hosted servers wich are not affected

Hi we our having problems with our server crashing quite regular now,happened again tonite around 1.20 am and also our teamspeak goes all funny like we downloading something this is the 5th time now in a week it lasts for about 10 mins then its back to normal...is there a problem going on at the moment?
