Justin,

Is there a means for us to see how our server would perform with the maximum number of connections filled? We are in the process of organising our servers but don't want to put pressure onto our kit. The intention is to remove our BF2 server but alter our BC2 server set up.

What would you say we are limited to with our box?

Thank you

Hi,

The best way to gauge this is by checking the box stats. I've sent you the CPU and ram usage for the last 7 days (via email.)

If you want to check individual game server usage, click the 'Game Server Activity' icon in the Game Panel.

That's excellent Justin. Thanks.

Over the last 7 days our peak usage was the Monday PM - Tuesday AM night shift.

What:
The dedi peaked at 40% of its capacity

Where:
At the peak time....
1. The conquest servers saw 2 player connections of its 32 capacity.
2. The rush server saw 32 player connections of its 32 capacity.
3. The mixed mode server saw 30 player connections of its 32 capacity.
4. The squad rush saw 0 player connections of its 8 capacity.
5. The CS server saw 2 player connections of its 24 capacity.
6. The BF2 server saw 0 player connections of its 32 capacity.

So thats 66 connections from a possible 160

This information assists us in deciding what we will do with the servers. I would like to see the results from when we had all four BC2 servers full (i'll see if I can find the date from the home page) but on those figures our server set up is bang on.

The date was:
BC2 servers make new BSM record!

Do we have the figure from that night? (just for interest really)
