We continue the series real world partners working with us on Medal of Honor Wrafighter, with Mechanix Wear Gloves. Over the course of the last few years with the development of both Medal of Honor 2010 and Warfighter we have looked at thousands of photographs shown to us by our more than two dozen consultants from the Special Operations Community. The consistent piece of gear in almost every single photograph is the Mechanix Wear Original® style gloves.

Last week we introduced our weekly product partner blog with London Bridge Trading (LBT), makers of the world’s best tactical nylon gear. We also announced the availability of the authentic units patches from Medal of Honor 2010 and Medal of Honor Warfighter with all proceeds going directly to charity.

This week we continue the series with our next partner, Mechanix Wear Gloves.

Over the course of the last few years with the development of both Medal of Honor 2010 and Warfighter we have looked at thousands of photographs shown to us by our more than two dozen consultants from the Special Operations Community. The consistent piece of gear in almost every single photograph is the Mechanix Wear Original® style gloves. Every Operator has his weapon set up differently and his kit placement unique to his liking. The lights, lasers, vertical grips, magazines, strobes and other various items are all positioned a bit differently for each of the Operators in every photograph. However they each have one piece of equipment in common, they all wear a pair of Mechanix Wear gloves in either Covert (Black) or Coyote (Desert Tan). So naturally, we have partnered with Mechanix Wear to be the sole provider of hand protection for Medal of Honor.

We know that gamers love variety, so in Warfighter we are featuring a number of different Mechanix styles on our characters. From the Mechanix Wear Original glove in both Covert and Coyote colors to the more heavily padded M-Pact series of gloves and the all new M-Pact 3 with Kevlar knuckles (yes Kevlar knuckles) in the game.

And in the spirit of partnership I’m actually wearing a pair at this very moment while typing this blog. They are the exact pair as seen in this screenshot (The M-Pact 2010 in coyote).
