I'm currently looking around for a good 20-30 man ARMA2 server. Given the resource intensive nature of the game, a Dedi is probably my best bet. What would you recommend in terms of spec?
In addition, as ARMA2 is non-standard for Killer Creation, how would I go about setting it up? My understanding is that there is a dedicated server client, which is downloadable and installable without the need for DVD checks or a serial key, but it may require assets from the DVD (which would take a long time to FTP over*)
Could you also expand on the # FREE 10 slot Mohawk, TeamSpeak 3, TeamSpeak 2 or Ventrilo voice serve option? Could the server run mumble? Could the server use an increased number of slots (I vaguely recall that TS3 involves licensing?)
How long would it take to get the server set up?
Finally, sell me hard on your service! Why should I use you instead of renting a server by slots from other providers? e.g. alpha-networks, jestservers, ukgame, etc?
*According to the developers wiki, they're fine with their content being ftped around like this as it would not end up being used by a client copy of the software.
Cheers.
EDIT: Actually, a list of common capacities for the dedis would be really useful in case we end up repurposing!
