... is the most frustrating title I have ever tried to support.

It takes ages to get players on, it can empty in a single map with seemingly no pattern, and the community on it seems lacking.

I think I will be abandoning it. :(

The franchise remains, in my opinion, dead.

I must say we have no problem what so ever getting our moh servers populated. Just today it took 3 of us like 5 mins starting our combat mission server up running. Our hot zone server is just as easy.

In the beginning we tried to mix modes but found out people left when changing from one game mod to another. So we changed our moh server to only run one game mode. Have 3 running where 2 of them are really easy to start up. Don't know if it's because we have turned of support actions (no kill streaks which means no arty or rocket stikes nor uav)

atm we have more members playing moh than BC2.

But one thing that can kill a moh server is if teams isn't ballanced. We use procon on our moh servers that ballance teams within 20 seconds.

I got a know of people who only play hotzone and team assault.

combat mission they said, have too many snipers/ airstrikes on spawn point, making it less fun.

We've since had more success after one of our BC2 regulars had an idea.

I was totally stumped.

We now run a short mixed mode rotation based on Objective Raid and Combat Mission.

It seems to work.

Thanks for the input though. :)

That is excatly the point why we don't have support actions (no airstrikes, uva) on any of our MOH servers incl combat mission and it does make it much more fun without support action. Only the 2 first days of moh we did run with it and don't get complains about it being turned of.

On our combat mission server we do kick players that stays in base just to snipe and don't move forward to support their team. We don't mind snipers as long their support their team and don't get their team8s throwen back in attack because they sit in base. We use procon's map overview to detect if people move forward when one objective has been completed. It took some hard work in the beginning but everyday our combat mission get better and better rank on gametracker and is enough that just one of us join the server to start it up.
