Hello . I have 2 gameservers for mohaa the old game . Im just wondering about a dedicated server for them and how easy is it to set up .
could i have so many mohaa server with diffrent gametypes and ts3 running of a dedicated server . Or say so many mohaa servers a cod server and ts3 .

Is this correct you can set up a certain amout of game severs and ts3 off your dedicated box .

How easy is it to get the games on your server and set up working ..

I have control of the one i have by ftp but i dont know how to set up a dedicated one as the games where already installed on the server .

How many games and ts3 cn you run on a dedicated server ??

Thanks for your help .. never had a dedicated one ;-)

Hi,

Which dedicated server were you interested in? Our range can be found here: http://www.killercre...dicated-servers

MOHAA is a fairly easy going game resources wise and even the lowest spec dedis should be ok for 2 or 3 instances of the max slot count.

With regards to set up, we have the files on our internal customer FTP site which you can download in minutes. The actual game server is pretty easy to configure.

looking at some thing with price the core duo 2 standard I think it is ..
how Many games with ts3 can you run on some thing like that . I was thinking about a ts3 around 64 slots and 3 mohaa server 34 slots max and a cod modern warfare server .
I'm unsure as to what amount of games servers this could do. the servers would not be full of players as one would be just setup for matches ect and used on occasion but would
be there for our members to use if they wish . there would be no website to set up as mines ok as it is hosted separate and that would get complicated for me to set up on some thing like this . Any detail would great and is there a guide any where to help set them up . it's just a matter for me to get then on and running any mods and changes I can do . just I have never set one up . I'm sure I'd Figure it out ;-)

Thanks

Hi,

The Intel Core2duo Standard would easily meet your requirements and should allow you a good margin of headroom, even if all 4 servers were full at any one time.

Had a quick google and found this guide: http://www.autokick..../adminguide.pdf

MOHAA is pretty straight forward to setup but if you need help, a member of staff can demo an installation for you while you watch. We have the files on our customer FTP so it should only take a few mins to get up and running.

You're free to run TS3 from your dedi so there is no real need to purchase that in addition unless you want us to manage it for you via our Game Panel.

The default install of TS3 is limited to 32 slots and can be expanded to 512 with a non-profit license that you can apply for on their site.

and so is the standard one . how many would the standard one run the package above the lite .
could you tell me for both servers lite and standard . and when are they back in stock do you know . Thanks

Two servers of any slot size should be ok for the Intel Lite. With regards to stock, unfortunately I cannot offer a time frame as it depends on customers renewing or upgrading. If you'd like to reserve an Intel Lite, please contact sales@.

Running a dedi is pretty simple and I suspect it won't take you more than a few hours to get to grips with it. If ultimately you're interested in the higher spec Intel Core2duo, then I'd recommend going with that from the get-go.

At an OS level, you can either use IPsec in Windows or iptables in Linux to do this. It's fairly easy to config: http://www.serverint...ec-blockip.aspx
