Hi there,

This is notification of a scheduled maintenance window between the hours of 04:30 - 05:00 GMT on Saturday, 26th February.

During the above period, we will be installing two new Cisco X6724 line cards to add additional capacity to our growing network. We anticipate the work will take no longer than 10 minutes but connectively will be lost for up to 30 seconds during the upgrade.

Next time I need to change something in my office network I'm going to call in KillerCreation. They clearly know what they are doing if tghe outage will be 30 seconds. The last router change I made took out the whole office for 34 hours

And thats why we all love KC so much and stick with them as our GSP. No BS constant fall overs and excuses like you get else where and prob the best uptime numbers out of all the GSP's out there!

I wish they had Black Ops servers here too then all my problems would be solved...

LOL you should of just told us servers will be offline for 2 hours then we would all be "Ooo Well Done! So Quick" when you had it done in a few mins with no probs.

Just to confirm, the work was successfully completed around 05:20 this morning.

On another note, there was a LINX issue last night which started around 00:50 and would of resulted in intermittent connectivity issues affecting UK and European peering. This was unrelated to anything we were doing and was a general LINX outage on their Brocade VLAN.
