How does one change the IP of a TS3 server to a more memorable address?

Who is hosting your TS3? If it is part of KillerCreation's main shared system it will already have name allocated of ts3.killercreation.co.uk and all yo uthen need is the specific port.

If it is a TS3 you are hosting on your own dedi server then it is a bit more of a challenge. You'll need to find your own domain name registrar and make some additions to the DNS settings for your domain name i.e. add a subdomain say TS3.Trojansdomain.com pointed at the IP of your TS3 server. When connecting your then just use the name and IP. Of course this also assumes your server is on a static IP as any changes would mess up that DNS.

Pretty much what movedgoalposts said. Create an A record for ts3.blahblah.com and point that to your dedi IP.

If you're really stuck, just reply back with a name you want and I'll update your DNS records.

To save you the hassle, I've added A records for the following:

ts3.britishsergeantsmess.org > 81.19.219.52
ts3.britishsergeantsmess.com > 81.19.219.52

So you just need to chuck in ts3.britishsergeantsmess.com port 9987 via your client.

Do you own/control bsm.com? I'd be very surprised if you did and would be worth a lot of money too.

The short answer is no, you cannot pick someone else's domain and start editing their dns :P
