Despite our roots being in the original Day of Defeat mod, we are now a multi-gaming community with members playing a variety of different games together. In order to support this we have two gameservers include DoD:S (of different flavours), BFBC2 VietNam. Not all members play all games obviously, although most still regularly play DoD:S together.

Whilst the community is based mainly in Europe, we also have some members who live in the Eastern US. We welcome people from anywhere, providing they are awake when the rest of us are playing! Current members are a very diverse group of people, and represent a huge range of abilities, age and personality.

82nd Rangers have been around for nearly 10 years and some of the founder members are still very active within the community. We are not a fly-by-night clan, are we will probably be around 10 years from now, please pop by our new website and forums, and say hello!

10 years is a long time; was dod your very first game then?

For myself no i already was clanning in TFC that was first serious game i played online but after the release of DOD i switched like many others i'm still playing DODS but not competitive anymore although i'm active in the VIE Tournament.

But DODS is kinda dying as it hasn't been updated so recently i Switched to BFBC 2 and mostly playing the VietNam mod as it's like DODS in a new content

i'm i and addicted gamer naaahhhh i play for fun LOL
