We recently signed a new two year deal with Tiscali (TINet) for a global feed provided direct to our Telehouse North location. Tiscali will be the latest edition to our extensive network and set to directly replace Above Net who has been causing a number of issues with European carriers such as Telia, DTAG, Nextgentel, TDC and Tele.DK.

We estimate the new Gbit fiber line will be live in the first part of the coming week. Fiber provisioning is set for Monday which could mean the BGP session is up as early as Tuesday morning. European end users should see much improved latency and stability especially during peak hours where Above Net was failing.

Tiscali will be the second global transit within our network already consisting of Telewest, ENTA, Goscomb and NTL peering.
