Will you guys be setting up BF3 servers?

If so count me in for one....
Participating in the alpha and its pretty awesome...

We cannot confirm anything officially (as DICE have not yet announced providers) but I'm sure we'll see you guys in BF3

I have had an Email from, i h8 to say it another company, im not going to say which one

but they are offering preorders on BF3 servers, so we can only presume that they have started selection process already, (or they are just over confident they will be selected) i just hope KC get it aswell as i loooove you guy's

and i cant wait to get back to a high class hosting company after the dismal service i have got with Gameservers with my BLOPS servers.

I had the same email. There offering a 50% reduction on pre-orders. I hope KC get in there too, as its been the best hosting ive ever had in over 12 years of online gaming.

I'm hoping KC get it as well. We liked the last server we had, though at the moment we are not renting any server from anywhere while we wait for these new games.

I looked at server prices - unbelievable the cost of the "company that shall not be named"

if you dont pre-order and you pay monthly it would cost £1532 a year with them for a 64 player server. Thankfully not all companies are as silly as that.

It's quite amusing watching them try to wriggle round thier pricing structure in this thread.

We could all get really good dedicated servers from KC for less than that price... Do you have any details on whether BF3 will be able to be run on a dedicated server (with restrictions I would imagine).

Just to confirm, we're in the process of sorting contracts with EA to become an Official Ranked Battlefield 3 Game Server Provider. Pre-orders will open up around the beta time.

Great news that you are hosting but was hoping you would have been a little closer to ixxs pricing.

We'll have to umm and ahhh over that now - support a UK company or save £100 over the year... just wish it had been an easier descision.

Anyway - well done chaps - still a hell of a lot cheaper than Mx - half the price in fact!

Will you be able to host BF3 servers on a dedicated box if we had one from you?

Yes you will. I've not checked the providers you mentioned but here is our example pricing:

Count me in for a server,

Are there any clans out there that would like to share the cost of a 64 slot server? atm we are only a small clan so we normally only have a 16 slot server if there are any other clans that would be interested please let me know and we can work something out... i reckon the 64 slot servers will be epic...

BTW, will RWEB function with BF3?

Please can anybody tell me, what the server-must-haves are to run a server as a ranked bf3-server?
I just know about running Punkbuster, but have not clue about the gamplay-restrictions ea made.

What about toggle vehicle-repair, infantry-only and stuff? Does anyone know about that? Maybe Justin does?

I would suggest waiting for the Rules of Engagement from EA. You are likely to be able to tweak server settings like vehicle health regeneration, but may not be allowed to limit weapons or class kits.

I imagine more news will come out closer to the release.
