After a successful beta, and one which saw many improvements and optimizations made to both the client and server side builds, we are all now looking forward to the Official Battlefield: Bad Company 2 release on March 5th (UK).

We would like to say thank you to all new and existing customers for pre-ordering their Official Ranked Bad Company 2 Game Servers with us. Due to the sheer numbers of orders, we will be starting the installation process this Sunday 28th Feb so that everyone has their server(s) ready for launch day.

So how will the process work?

Firstly, no installations will be active until the Official release on March 5th. For new standalone ranked and dedicated ranked customers, billing will not start until the Official release. If you are an existing dedicated ranked server customer, then your usual billing dates apply.

Definitions (in case anyone gets confused)

Dedicated ranked server customer: A customer who purchased a physical box or boxes dedicated to them for running multiple game server instances. http://www.killercre...dicated-servers

Standalone ranked game server customer: A customer who purchased a single instance (in some cases 2) of the game server from http://www.killercre...official-ranked


New ranked dedicated and standalone ranked game server customers

Account and service information will be emailed between Sunday 28th Feb and Thursday 4th March. Please note the first email as this provides your login to our billing area where you can view your IP:Port, Game Panel login and any additional services ordered.


Existing standalone ranked game server customers

Customers with an existing service will be notified (via email) of a new service added to the account between Sunday 28th Feb and Thursday 4th March. As you will be already familiar with our setup, there is no need for us to explain again, but all information will be available within your billing account.


Existing ranked dedicated customers

Customers with an existing ranked dedicated server(s), please check your Game Panel account between Sunday 28th Feb and Thursday 4th March for service information. We will not be sending out individual emails for this service.

Please note again, you will not be able to start your game servers until March 5th (this applies to all).
