Hi all can a moderator

Sticky a how to add a server banner? we had a few attempts but failed ;-)


What we need is the correct code to be used, the size, and i think there is some restriction regarding the character length ?


all important info,, and will save us a lot of messing about if the how to can be done, it then means more time in game ;-)

The banner must be 512 x 64 pixels, in .PNG format, and smaller than 127kB (URL must be 63 characters or shorter).
Our pic is http://teamdf.co.uk/server.png then its just a matter of going into the control panel and /conf/ServerOptions.ini and add the location of the pic..i also went into /conf/AdminScripts/Startup.txt to make sure there was no probs with it.

By the way, the dimensions, format, size and URL lengths are noted within the game panel when you edit the banner field

Hi m8s

I was trying to add a server banner


and changed two things in Config Editor (/conf/ServerOptions.ini) and Config Editor (/conf/ServerOptions.ini) I only messed with the banner options !

and maybe the server name, Im sure i put it back to default but now none of the EA rcon tools will connect, i get message no connection could be made, because target machine activly refused it

Can I have your server IP:port please? I think I know what this is and should only take a mo to fix.
