Hi there,

Banners must be accessible via http and conform to the following spec:

Dimensions: 512 (W) x 64 (H) pixels
Format: PNG-24 or PNG-32 (PNG-8 will not work)
URL Length: 63 characters or shorter
Size: 127kB max

Example banner



Once you have the banner ready to go, log into our Game Panel http://gp.killercreation.co.uk > Game Services > click on the BC2 Game Server > Default Configs > ServerOptions.ini. When editing the ServerOptions.ini there is a field marked 'Server banner' - edit and save, and then restart the game server.

is it ok to use the game pannels file manager to upload the image and then use the path in the ini file.
if so what is the path to use?.

The banner must be accessible via http for it to display in-game. So unfortunately no, that won't work.

Does this just apply to debranded servers?

Even if you have a branded server, you're free to change the banner.

one of the lads says he can see it but i can not. Any thoughts ?

The banner seems fine so it's most likely down to the webserver hosting that banner having keep alives turned off.

Hi Justin, Thanks for getting intouch. I've checked the link, happy, can see it in web with new link, (thanks for that) but when i put in the banner URL field in general options i still dont see it when i log into game. I have tried with and without RCON tools. The RCON Pro i use recognises it. Its wierd. could there be a blocked protocol at my firewall that is preventing me viewing it in game.

grr.... wierd stuff drives me mad..
