Hi,

/Edit

Our new recommended rcon tool is Wolfcon available here.

Wolfcon is being actively developed by our own community member Wolfy and an outstanding job he's done so far :)

BFBC2 Guardian is by far the best of the tools available and is the one that i use however in the interests of fairness here are the other admin tools available

BC2CC
BFBC2Admin - Requires a daemon to be run tho it doesnt have to be run from the server

I just tried it and it doesn't seem to like having to look at two servers. They are added but it won't switch between them at all. :/

Ayup,

I've just dl the latest version of guardian (v1.2010.325.100) and it is not accepting the rcon pw for either server. I then tried connecting using bc2cc and the alert "invalid pw" flags up. Checked that the RCON pws are correct using the KC ctrl panel. I wonder what's up :/

EDIT: Doh.. i changed the adminpw to something for all the admins and this allows access. I take it this adminpw doesn't overwrite the RCON pw? :o

Hello; my name is Massimo nice to meet you

Do you have an idea why the welcome message on wolfcon doesn't start?
The format is
Welcome %n! Enjoy ARUCLAN Server

There is something wrong?

Thanks

:)

Hello Guys.

Can someone point me in the right direction with wolfcom.

I can not seem to get our server to connect via it.

Think it might be something to do with the username. Do i have to regiester somewhere first?

If not where do i get my username from?

Wolfcon has been superceded for killercreation customers by rweb. This is a web based rcon tool for BF:BC2 and MOH2010 which has a number of advantage to client only rcons since it will always be running and thus can be left to control map rotations messaging and such like whilst you switch your own compuiter off. It was developed by Wolfy and KillerCreation.

There is a whole forum area devoted to it: http://www.killercre.../forum/45-rweb/

if you contact Killercreation support I'm sure they can add you to rweb.

Im using both rweb and wolfcon, because not all of wolfcons advantages are available on rweb and also wolfcon is instant, where rweb has, unfortunately sometimes been really slow at activating the command, there is also the caching issue as well. In all honesty, I love rweb, I just wish it would have the VIP list, to help prevent players from being switched in game, which is something if I recall correct Wolfcon does, but is not a configurable option in the actual gameserver config files or in Rweb, unless im mistaken... I cant see it anyway.

Perhaps Justin can confirm this?

It's not available in rWeb at the mo but we should be adding it soon (ish).
