Advise before to diving in

HI

I understand a little about dedi boxes them self's but I was just wondering what box would be best to run:

Gmod 24 slot *2
ZPS 24 slot *1
CSS 24 slot *1
Vent 24 slot

I know gmod personal eat every bit of power it can get it hands on but we are just looking to start out with those server, not always running at full but maybe sometime running at full steam

Hi,

You're kind of at the border between what a Core2duo Extreme can handle (comfortably) before looking towards a quad server (R200 and up.)

Gmod is the tricky one to factor in. As you say, potentially the game can consume the entire resources of a machine. Factoring in Gmod along the same resource requirements as CSS, a Core2duo Extreme would be fine.

Note, the free version of Vent is limited to 8 slots. if you would like 24, this would have to be purchased when ordering.
