Hi,
DICE have released Server Update R6 with the following changes:
- Fix for crashes usually occurring during level switches. Possible side effect of the fix might result in memory leakage.
- Game servers should no longer quit in some situations where the online backend servers are down. Server will reconnect to the backend once it's up again.
- Fix for ghost servers which didn't accept connections.
- Kick reasons should better match situations where they are issued. This will help battlelog provide more accurate information to the player.
- Connection fixes to avoid players sometimes being rejected while joining the game server on one of the last slots.
R6 can be installed by logging into the Game Panel and going to Game Servers > BF3 > Game Updates and R6 is available there.
Please note: We will force all BF3 Game Servers to R6 by mid afternoon tomorrow, 31st October.

These were installed on our servers (81.19.208.31) this morning at 7am and have filled over the course of the day.
I've not yet had any reports of problems as a result, but I'll try to get some feedback on improvements later.

Less tickets says a lot
Some reports of increased lag on the RSP DICE mailing list but certainly the server is more stable.
