COD4 - ModernRcon administration
How to use ModernRcon to remotely administrate your CoD4 server
Requirements:
-CoD4 game server with rcon access.
-ModernRcon.
–Latest version of Java.
Lets begin…
1) Extract/Install ModernRcon
Extracting and installing ModernRcon is simple, open up the zip file you downloaded and extract the ModernRcon folder inside the zip to your desktop or wherever is convenient. Open up that directory and run ‘ModernRcon_v0.6.exe and the login menu should appear.
2) Login to the server
Open up ModernRcon and you will be presented with a screen where you put both the server IP (host), port and RCON password. Tick ‘Save server’ to save the server to your saved servers list so you can get back to it another time without having to renter your RCON details. Once you are logged in you will see the screen below.
3) Configure your server
You will now be presented with a rather simple, easy to use interface in which you can manage players and change various settings you can change with a click of a button.
